Public Involvement Meeting: STH 55 Roundabout on June 25

The City of Kaukauna, in conjunction with the Kaukauna Area School District, is holding a public involvement meeting regarding proposed improvements to the intersection of WIS 55 and Morningside Drive. The proposed improvements include reconstructing the intersection to a multi-lane roundabout with a pedestrian underpass to provide access to the future Kaukauna Middle School.
The objective of the meeting is to share the details of the project, including the proposed improvements and anticipated construction impacts. Right of way acquisitions are not anticipated. Construction is currently scheduled for 2027.
The meeting will take place on Thursday, June 25, 2026 from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Municipal Services Building located at 144 W 2nd St. The meeting will follow an open house format with a short presentation scheduled to begin promptly at 6:00 p.m. Project representatives will be available to discuss the proposed project and address questions or concerns.
