Updates to Ordinance 7.09 establishing a careless operation standard

In an effort to balance safety and mobility, the City of Kaukauna updated an ordinance (7.09 Neighborhood Electric Vehicles and Personal Motorized Mobility Devices) establishing a careless operation standard. This allows our police officers to address behavior that creates unnecessary risk regardless of the specific device type. Per state law (62.11(4)(a)), this ordinance will go into effect once it has been published in the Classifieds of the Times Villager.
